I have lived in South Skye all of my life and feel so lucky I get to call this place home! I grew up with many pets, we never had less than 5 border collies in the house at one time (most of which where rescues). We had guinea pigs, rabbits, ducks, geese & chickens also. I now have my own 2 horses, a border collie and 3 guinea pigs to call my own.

Growing up in that environment has no doubt been a massive factor in what I have chosen to do as a career in life. When I finished high school in 2018 I went on to study Equine Studies HNC which I received an A grade and Student of the year award. 

Soon after returning home from college I was recruited to join the team at Aird Boarding Kennels & Cattery (2019 - current) in South Skye and I was a chef full-time at the same time too, so I was very busy doing day shifts and evening shifts at either job! 

Since the start of 2023 I decided to give up on cheffing to follow my passion for working with animals full time, so I started at the Old School Vet Practice in Broadford just 1 day a week at the start of 2023. So, I was then working between the kennels & vets which has given me a lot of hands on experience with different animals/breeds.

I run L.R.M Pet Services around the days I work at the vets (Saturday) and kennels (Tuesday) both of which encouraged me to set up this business.
